Looking for a babysitter once a week (flexible on day) for 3-4 hours with our one year old and occasionally to be with all three of our children (6yo, 3yo and 1yo). SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As a BBYO Genesis Fellow, a typical day will include:
Working directly with teens (grades 8-12) to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs in their local chapters Mentoring teen leaders and deliver leadership training Working with teens to attract and retain members to build and grow chapters Guiding teens in establishing an annual calendar for each chapter that drives engagement and recruitment through meaningful programming Building and maintain relationships with key volunteers, parents, partners and stakeholders in the community Recruiting new members to join BBYO and to attend summer programs Facilitating the planning process, alongside teen leadership, and colleagues, for citywide and regional events including overnight conventions Working alongside colleagues to bring new, innovative, and fun ideas to the community Attending summer camp (but this time you’re in charge!) as you direct teen leadership programs Managing the region’s email inbox and assisting with mass communication tools including but not limited to newsletters, social media, and phone follow-ups Tracking regional data such as membership, prospects, and program logistics
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Experience/Education:
0-3 years of work experience and or volunteer experience Experience with youth or teens in a youth organization or camp environment is preferred A bachelor’s degree or higher required
Skills:
A general knowledge of Jewish culture and calendar Organized with an attention to detail Commitment to relationship building, networking and customer service Excellent communication skills Creativity and problem solving Confidence to take initiative to work independently and as part of a supportive team
Abilities:
Attend all regional conventions and major events, BBYO’s staff conference, and staff BBYO’s International Convention each year. Ability to travel as needed and to staff a summer leadership program for 2-3 weeks during summer Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law. Ability to have access to reliable transportation, whether via personal vehicle or public transit, to ensure timely arrival at events
BBYO GENESIS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The BBYO Genesis Fellowship is a two-year program, commencing upon start date and ending on June 30, 2027. As a fellow, you’ll gain invaluable experience rotating within BBYO departments, building a diverse skill set and an impressive resume. Program highlights include:

Perlman Summer is a 7-week program which includes the International Leadership Training Conference (ILTC) and Kallah. ILTC is designed to hone leadership skills for teens serving (or aspiring to serve) as regional BBYO position-holders in their home communities. ILTC participants often become the top leaders of the BBYO teen movement, gaining skills in recruitment, program planning and civic engagement. Kallah is a Jewish learning and spirituality institute that inspires teens to explore their Jewish identities and interests in a diverse, pluralistic setting encouraging questioning and experimentation. Kallah participants gain important Judaic skills and come away feeling a deeper connection to Jewish study, Israel, and community. Both programs are expected to reach 200 teens.
Location: Lake Como, Pennsylvania
Work Commitment: ILTC/Kallah | June 17 – August 7, 2025 – $2,200
Chapter Leadership Training Conference (CLTC) is a 13-day program designed to develop and strengthen the leadership skills of BBYO chapter leaders. At CLTC, teens from across North America will form mock chapters and learn specific skills that help them lead their chapter at home. CLTC builds on a curriculum based on teens focusing on leadership development, program planning, and hands-on experience. CLTC is expected to reach 600 teens across 4 sessions throughout the summer.
Location: Poyntelle, Pennsylvania
Work Commitment: Choose One of the following:
CLTC 1&2 – June 4, 2025 – July 7, 2025 – $1,330
CLTC 3&4 – July 9, 2025 – August 13, 2025 – $1,405
Minimum Qualifications:
Have attended CLTC, ILTC and/or Kallah or equivalent. One year post participation in BBYO program Have experience and can demonstrate supervisory expertise with multiple professionals and departments. Have experience and can demonstrate program design, vision, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Can commit up to 10 hours a month from March – June for training, planning, implementation, and supervisory purposes.
General Responsibilities:
Serve as a role model for participants as a young Jewish adult and an exemplary BBYO alum, translating past BBYO experiences into learning opportunities for participants. Display how the AZA and BBG movement meaningfully expands beyond high school years.
Specific Responsibilities:
To manage Teen Life in Cabins:
Manage Daily Bunk Clean Up and Inspection Camp Clean Up (Organize Office, Reset All Rooms, etc.) Ensure that all teens are accounted for and involved out of the dorm and in the regular daily schedule of the program Actively involve, and sometimes create, lead and evaluate programs at CLTC Support Dorm of the Day Responsibilities Ensure All Teens are provided appropriate mental and physical care. Supervise the Teens during free time and in the evening (this means staying in the dorms once the teens are in for the night) Adhere and report up regarding the Code of Conduct to ensure our teens and staff are following it. Create, implement and evaluate intentional rituals and programs in Dorms. Provide nighttime supervision in the bunks when teens have “lights out” This role includes sleeping in the same space as camp participants. For safety reasons, Madrichim are expected to be present in living spaces during bed checks, sleep and shower time. Madrichim are expected to do so in a manner that respects that privacy of our participants. Staff are required to interact, work, and live with mixed genders
To manage Teen Life in Program:
Provide supervision to teens in programmatic areas Ensure that all teens are actively involved in activities Setup for Programs (Supplies and Environment) Supervise Teens during chofesh
To be actively engaged, and supervising teens in programming:
Support, attend, sometimes lead all Special Events & Evening Programs Support Coordinator-Led Programming Assist with and/or build and implement a Chug (Camp Activity) Assist with and/or lead Shabbat Electives Support Coordinators with Friendship Circle Programs Plan Bunk Bonding Experiences
Create and Plan Camp Programs
In addition to living in the bunk with teens, every madrich(a) will have the opportunity to have a role in a specific area at camp. For general programming, you will be responsible for planning camp style activities and assisting the leadership staff in programming.
Assist with camp opening, closing and transition days:
Welcome Teens off buses. Support moving of luggage and check-In. Assist with the airport team (Welcome and Departure) Moving and unpacking/packing boxes
To actively partake in Pre-Leadership Training Experiences:
Participate, engage and complete all mandatory virtual and onsite trainings
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
Ability to perform light work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force constant to move objects
Heavy visual acuity required performing such activities as preparing and analyzing data and figures, using computers and reading
All positions are seasonal.

Urban Adamah is an educational farm and community center in Berkeley, California that integrates the practices of Jewish tradition, mindfulness, sustainable agriculture, and social action to build loving, just, and sustainable communities. We provide training programs, educational workshops, and community celebrations for more than 10,000 visitors annually.
Every summer, Urban Adamah offers an outdoor summer camp for kids ages 3 – 14 . Summer Camp features hands-on projects and activities exploring themes that integrate nature-connection, crafts, farming, community-building, and Jewish values. Camp Urban Adamah is designed to create a space for children to thrive and express their natural curiosity and passion, all within a vibrant, loving, and inclusive Jewish community.
The summer farm specialists are responsible for the educational content of summer camp. Specialists plan and facilitate 2-3 sessions per day for campers ages 3-14 that bring the magic of the farm to life. The Summer Specialists are responsible for knowing what is happening on the farm and for bringing the campers into that magic through art, storytelling, mindfulness, experimentation, and experiential activities.

Next Gen International Advocacy Program The Wiesenthal International Advocacy Internship will expose students to public policy, legislation, and advocacy to combat antisemitism, fight bigotry and stereotyping and ensure proper legal and de-facto treatment of minority communities.
Wiesenthal International Advocacy Interns will:
– Have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience in the offices of consulates representing various international governments, United Nations missions, and international organizations, to learn about mechanisms of political movement in a dynamic, intellectually rigorous environment.
– Participate in regular workshop sessions with consular officials, top lobbyists, issue-based advocates, and Jewish leaders on the international scene, to understand the currents of effective Jewish communal advocacy on an international-based issue approach.
– Be partnered with mentors who shape front-line policy decisions to gain insight and guidance from an insider perspective.
– Receive a stipend of $1,500 upon completion of the program.
Next Gen Government Advocacy Internship Program

Wiesenthal Government Advocacy Interns will:

– Participate in weekly intensive workshops with elected officials, top lobbyists, coalition builders, and high-level Jewish communal leaders to develop the skills necessary to become effective activists.

Job Description: picking up two children in Takoma DC, and driving one of them to a school in DC (about 10 minutes) and then driving the second child to a school in Rockville. Picking up at the school in Rockville and stopping at the DC school to bring home. The children are 10 and 12. The whole trip takes me 45 -60 minutes including wait times.
Qualifications: You’ll need to have an excellent driving record, have good references, and have your own car.

The Collegiate Leadership Internship Program (CLIP) is a selective, paid internship experience in New York City run by the NYU Bronfman Center. Interns shape their community and connect with mentors and a cohort of values-driven peers from all different schools.
CLIP matches undergrads with substantive internships at Jewish nonprofits across NYC. Interns spend Monday through Thursday working full time at their internship placement, and Fridays in social, experiential seminars with their cohort. CLIP seminars are where the personal meets the professional: we ask big questions about professional life and leadership, learn tangible professional development skills, network with guest speakers, explore excursions throughout the city, and consider themes around Jewish identity. We even get out of the city for a weekend-long Shabbaton retreat to connect in nature.
