Chabad of Northern Virginia is hiring a lead teacher for this school year (2025-2026). This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to teach at a fantastic educational center for the many Jewish children in Northern Virginia, including shape the vision and trajectory for the growing school. Super supportive team and parent base! We weave Judaism, love of Hashem, and core Jewish knowledge into everything we do. No Limudei Kodesh time vs. Limudei Chol time here — our STEAM work, our Aleph Bet, our ABCS all teach us more about Hashem’s world and what our mission in it can look like. Every child is celebrated for who they are, and we have no interest in fitting him or her into a box; on the contrary, they are a precious soul and we are lucky to have the opportunity to educate and guide them along a beautiful Torah path. Our school is Reggio-inspired. Our indoor space is newly renovated, bright and clean. Our outdoor space is green and sprawling; we are busy building new mud kitchens for next year and are adding more natural play elements each year.
Does this sound like a great fit for you? Do you have experience in early childhood education? Please do reach out to chat!
We are hiring for the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher roles for this coming year.
Fairfax is 25 minutes from Washington, DC and 40 minutes from Silver Spring, Maryland.
If you… · educate children with Torah & love · prioritize social-emotional wellbeing · feel excited about the idea of a Jewish preschool that uses the Reggio model, educating a wide variety of Jewish families’ children with thoughtful and Torah-true chinuch.
…then let’s talk! Please email ganisraelpreschool@gmail.com.
