Join our collaborative team at Shaare Torah, a welcoming Conservative synagogue in Gaithersburg, MD. With our religious school program growing and our diverse congregation expanding, we’re opening positions on our dedicated teaching staff!

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic educators to join us in creating engaging learning experiences at Nesiyah, Shaare Torah’s religious school program. While teaching experience is extremely valued, it’s not mandatory, especially if you have a passion for Judaism and Jewish education. Our ideal candidates embrace hands-on learning methods and feel comfortable working with children who are neurodiverse.

Classes are held on Sundays 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, midweek afternoons 4:45-6:15 PM, and select Shabbat mornings with in-person and online options. Are you passionate about Arts, Sports, Nature, Hebrew, or Rabbinic Texts? We’re actively seeking individuals who bring deep enthusiasm and expertise in these areas, integrating them into our curriculum through a Jewish lens.

Nesiyah at Shaare Torah offers classes for Pre-K through 7th grade with openings for the 2024-2025 school year including:

-KINDERGARTEN TEACHER (SUNDAYS ONLY)

-TEVA CHUG TEACHER (WEDNESDAYS ONLY)
Sports, Nature, Outdoor Adventures, Tikkun Olam

-HEBREW TUTOR (WEDNESDAYS ONLY)

-SONGLEADER/MUSIC SPECIALIST (SUNDAYS ONLY)
