Event organized for the MBA program. Picnic to celebrate Yom Haatzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day). We will order catering from Shouk (Kosher), set up blankets in the green areas, play Israeli music, board games, matkot, and host a trivia with interesting facts about Israel that people don’t normally know. Through this event, we are looking to increase awareness regarding the coexistence of people from diverse cultures, religions, sexual preference etc, in Israel. And how misinformation, publicity, and general ignorance have made people think that the country is apartheid.
