High Holiday Youth Programming Staff

B’nai Israel Congregation, a Conservative synagogue in Rockville, Maryland, is looking for staff for our High Holiday Youth Programming, and if you are going to be in the area for Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur, we’d love to have you as part of our staff! We welcome applicants who are current college students.

Pay starts at $100/shift based on experience, beginning 30 minutes prior to the start of programming and ending when all children are picked up at the end of traditional services. You can view of service schedule here: https://www.bnaiisraelcong.org/highholidays2026
Our programming typically includes running prepared age-appropriate activities for a grade-level group of children, as well as taking them to and from youth services which are run by other staff. We have a brief Zoom orientation prior to the holidays.

We need staff for Saturday, September 12, Sunday, September 13, Sunday evening, September 20, and Monday, September 21. We are looking for people to work all four days or any combination of days.
