Looking for a space for your next meeting, program, training, celebration, or community event? Maryland Hillel welcomes reservation requests from students, partner organizations, and community groups.

To get started, select the option below that best describes your organization. You will be asked to create an account in our reservation system (AllBooked) before you can view available spaces, check times, and submit a reservation request.

Please note that all reservations are submitted as requests and are subject to review and approval by Maryland Hillel staff. Submission of a reservation request does not guarantee a reservation.

Before Your Begin

  • You must create an account before viewing available rooms and submitting reservation requests.
  • Reservation requests are not confirmed until approved by Maryland Hillel staff.
  • Availability is subject to building operations, existing reservations, and programmatic needs.
  • Room descriptions, capacities, amenities, and pricing information are available within the reservation system.

Terms & Conditions

  • All reservations are submitted as requests and are not considered confirmed until approved by Maryland Hillel staff.
  • Submission of a reservation request does not guarantee access to a space.
  • Maryland Hillel reserves the right to deny, modify, or cancel reservation requests based on facility availability, staffing needs, safety concerns, building operations, or programmatic priorities.
  • Reservation holders will receive notification when a request has been approved, denied, or requires additional information.

  • Student organizations and university-affiliated groups may reserve approved spaces subject to Maryland Hillel policies.
  • Partner organizations may be eligible for discounted pricing.
  • Outside organizations may reserve available spaces at the applicable rental rate.
  • The individual submitting a reservation must be at least 18 years old and serve as the primary event contact.

  • Space reservations are valid only for the approved date, time, and room(s).
  • Organizations may only reserve and receive exclusive use of the specific room(s) included in their reservation.
  • Guests are welcome to access other public areas of the building during normal operating hours; however, those spaces remain open to other building users and are not considered private or reserved as part of the event.
  • Organizations may not restrict access to common areas, lounges, hallways, patios, or other shared spaces unless those areas have been specifically reserved and approved as part of the reservation.
  • Activities must be conducted in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Users must comply with all university, local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Activities that are unlawful, hazardous, discriminatory, or inconsistent with Maryland Hillel’s mission or policies are prohibited.

  • Maximum occupancy limits must be observed at all times.
  • Posted capacities may vary depending on room layout and furniture configuration.
  • Maryland Hillel reserves the right to modify room assignments or occupancy limits based on safety considerations.

  • Reservation holders are responsible for the conduct of their guests, attendees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Exterior doors may not be propped open or left unattended.
  • Access to staff offices, storage areas, kitchens (unless specifically reserved), mechanical rooms, and other restricted spaces is prohibited.
  • Emergency exits, hallways, and building access points must remain clear at all times.

  • Reservation time must include all setup, event, cleanup, and breakdown activities.
  • Spaces must be left in the same condition in which they were found unless setup services have been arranged in advance.
  • All event materials, decorations, personal property, and other items brought into the facility must be removed at the conclusion of the reservation.
  • Large, bulky, or excess trash that does not fit in standard building receptacles must be removed from the facility and properly disposed of by the reservation holder.
  • Maryland Hillel reserves the right to dispose of any items left behind after an event unless prior arrangements have been made with staff.
  • Additional cleaning fees may be assessed if spaces require excessive cleanup after an event.
  • By reserving a space, the organization agrees to pay for any damages, repair costs, replacement costs, restoration costs, or extraordinary cleaning expenses resulting from the event.

  • Furniture may not be removed from rooms or moved between rooms without prior approval.
  • Any furniture moved during an event must be returned to its original location unless setup services have been arranged in advance.
  • Only painter’s tape may be used to hang signs, decorations, or materials on walls, doors, or other surfaces.
  • The use of nails, screws, staples, command strips, duct tape, packing tape, adhesive putty, or any other mounting materials is prohibited.
  • Any damage resulting from decorations, signage, or mounting materials, including paint damage, residue removal, or wall repair, may result in additional charges to the reserving organization.

  • Available technology and equipment are listed in each room description.
  • Requests for additional equipment or event support should be submitted during the reservation process.
  • Maryland Hillel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee the availability of additional equipment, technology, or staffing.

  • Outside vendors, entertainers, caterers, rental companies, and service providers must receive prior approval from Maryland Hillel.
  • Approved vendors must comply with all Maryland Hillel facility policies and operational requirements.
  • Delivery, storage, or shipment of materials to Maryland Hillel prior to an event must be approved in advance.
  • Maryland Hillel cannot guarantee storage space for event materials or equipment.

  • The Dining Hall requires the use of Maryland Hillel Catering for all food service.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Dining Hall unless specifically approved in writing by Maryland Hillel.
  • Additional food and beverage restrictions may apply depending on the event and reserved space.
  • Alcohol may only be served with prior approval from Maryland Hillel and in compliance with all applicable laws, licenses, permits, and organizational policies.

  • The Student Kitchen is a kosher facility and must be used in accordance with all Maryland Hillel kosher policies.
  • Food brought into the Student Kitchen must comply with Maryland Hillel kosher requirements.
  • Additional kitchen usage guidelines may apply and will be provided upon approval of kitchen reservations.

  • Outdoor events are weather dependent.
  • Reservation holders are responsible for contingency planning in the event of inclement weather.
  • Grills, cookouts, open flames, fireworks, propane equipment, and similar activities are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by Maryland Hillel.
  • Patio furniture may be moved as needed for an event but should be left in a reasonable arrangement that is clean, organized, and ready for use by other building guests.

  • Events must not unreasonably disrupt other building users, programs, staff, or neighboring properties.
  • Amplified music and sound levels may be limited depending on location, time of day, and other scheduled activities.

  • Approval of a reservation does not imply Maryland Hillel sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership.
  • Organizations may not use the Maryland Hillel name, logo, or branding in promotional materials without prior written permission.

  • The reserving organization is responsible for any damage caused by its attendees, guests, vendors, contractors, or representatives.
  • Maryland Hillel reserves the right to invoice or otherwise collect reasonable costs associated with repair, replacement, restoration, additional cleaning, missing equipment, policy violations, or unauthorized use of facilities.
  • Maryland Hillel is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property brought into the facility.

  • Any organization that maintains general liability insurance must provide a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) prior to the event or facility use. Individual students and student organizations that do not maintain independent liability insurance are exempt from this requirement. Maryland Hillel reserves the right to require proof of insurance for any reservation based on the nature of the event or activity.

  • Reservations will not be approved until the required insurance documentation has been received and reviewed.
  • Maryland Hillel reserves the right to require additional insurance coverage or documentation based on the size, nature, or risk level of an event.
  • Failure to provide the required insurance documentation may result in denial or cancellation of the reservation request.
  • Maryland Hillel may require organizations to list Maryland Hillel as an Additional Insured when applicable.

  • Applicable rental fees must be paid according to Maryland Hillel’s payment schedule.
  • Cancellations should be submitted as soon as possible.
  • Refund eligibility may depend on the timing of cancellation and any expenses already incurred by Maryland Hillel.
  • No-shows may be charged the full rental fee.

  • Maryland Hillel reserves the right to revoke a reservation or terminate an event if facility policies are violated or if circumstances arise that require use of the space for institutional purposes, safety concerns, emergencies, or operational needs.
