FreshFest 2025
FreshFest is Maryland Hillel’s premier orientation program for new Jewish students at the University of Maryland. Taking place just before regular move-in begins in August, FreshFest offers the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow Jewish students, get acquainted with campus life, and explore local highlights.

Why Do FreshFest?
- Arriving early allows for ample time to settle in, sparing you from the hassle of enduring lengthy lines during the peak move-in period.
- Making friends prior to move-in weekend can be highly advantageous, fostering an immediate sense of connection.
- Parents are invited to participate a few optional programs on the first day!
- You get early access to learn how to get involved in Jewish life on campus.
