Rayna Alexander is a graduate of Penn State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in international affairs (2024). Her background is primarily in African and Middle Eastern history and politics. On campus, Rayna was an active member of Nittany Lions for Israel and a frequenter of Penn State Hillel’s conservative minyan.

She previously interned for the United States Agency for International Development (Embassy in Dakar, Senegal), Department of State, and various other think tanks and non-profits working on democracy and humanitarian assistance in West Africa. She also likes to paint and draw, talk geopolitics, weightlift, and advocate for Jewish students!
