Yoni is excited to join the Maryland Hillel team as the Manager of Student Leadership! He comes to UMD after three years working in collegiate athletics as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Marymount University and Alfred University, where he earned his MBA. Yoni studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2020), where he was actively involved in Jewish life on campus through Hillel and other institutions.
A proud “Ramahnik,” Yoni has spent nearly two decades at Camp Ramah New England as a camper, counselor, and Rosh Edah (division head), where he honed his passion for mentorship and team building. He’s excited to bring that same energy and leadership style to students at UMD! When he’s not on campus, you can find Yoni playing disc golf, shooting hoops, tending to his houseplants, or experimenting in the kitchen.
