Bnai Shalom of Olney’s Kapiloff Religious School, known as J-LAB, is seeking passionate educators to join our dynamic team for the 2025–2026 school year. Our program emphasizes fun, engaging activities and meaningful learning experiences that help students build a strong, connected community. We are in Olney, MD.

We are currently hiring part-time teachers for the following times:
• Sunday mornings: 8:30–11:30 AM
• Tuesday and Wednesday evenings: 5:30–7:30 PM

We’re looking for creative, empathetic, and engaging teachers who are enthusiastic about Jewish life and learning. Our team is committed to supporting you as you grow and thrive in your teaching role.

Current Openings:
• 5th and 6th Grade Judaics Teacher (Sunday mornings)
• 5th and 6th Grade Prayer Hebrew Teacher (Sunday Mornings)
• Israeli History and Tefillah teacher (Tuesday or Wednesday evenings)
• Additional opportunities may be available, including substitute teaching.
Compensation & Support:
• Starting at $30/hour
• Ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
• Experience teaching or working with children
• Strong knowledge of Jewish concepts/ Prayer Hebrew
• Ability to use creative teaching methods to engage students
