We seek to engage, strengthen, and empower Jewish students through a variety of leadership and learning fellowships, committee roles for large-scale programs, and training opportunities.
Maryland Hillel has something for everyone—Israel advocates, singers, environmental activists, spiritual seekers, people interested in interfaith dialogue—you name it!
We have dozens of on-campus Jewish student groups funded by Maryland Hillel and the university. Groups are run by students, for students, and with the support of our professional staff. And, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, we will help you create it!
Are you a motivated, creative self-starter who wants to make a difference on campus? This internship is for you. You’ll leave your impact on the Jewish community by planning awesome events, getting leadership training, and being a part of one of the best communities on campus!
Maryland Hillel is excited to launch our new Spark Internship. This internship will focus on providing transformative, personalized leadership experiences for students of all backgrounds. We are looking to bring together a diverse group of intelligent, motivated self-starters to help build Jewish community on campus, create meaningful, authentic experiences for students, engage new students on campus, and create a space for personal self-growth and exploration.
All members of the Spark Internship will participate in full-group programming and each member will also focus on their personal social networks/communities on campus to provide meaningful Jewish experiences.
Please email our Assistant Director, Dawn Savage at dsavage@marylandhillel.org, if you are interested in any of these leadership opportunities.
