Temple Solel, a Reform congregation in Bowie, MD, is seeking religious school teachers this Fall for K-7th grades. Classes meet in-person from 9am-12pm on Sunday mornings. Successful candidates will be provided the Shalom Learning curriculum along with support and resources to be successful. Applicants should send a resume and cover letter to hr@templesolelmd.org.

Temple Solel, a Reform Jewish congregation in Bowie, Maryland serving Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Calvert counties and the surrounding area, is seeking a Religious School Principal. The approximately 200-family congregation enrolls 75 - 100 children in its Sunday morning Pre-K through Grade 12 religious school. As a member of the congregation’s leadership, the Principal will report directly to the Temple Board and work collaboratively with both the Rabbi and Education Committee to design, administer, direct, and supervise the educational programs. The Principal is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and leadership of the religious school. The desired candidate will help educate students and support teachers in the implementation of the Shalom Learning curriculum. The individual manages the school, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising teachers, staff and interns. The Principal proposes the annual budget for the religious school to the Temple Board, monitors expenditures, and provides a monthly report to the Temple’s Budget and Finance Committee. Young Israel of Potomac is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Youth Director at our small, vibrant shul. The individual should have the ability to lead and inspire the teen group leaders. The Youth Director is responsible for ensuring a successful youth program that creates a warm environment that nurtures and strengthens the children’s connection to Judaism and the community. Prior experience is preferred but not required. The Youth Director must be present in Potomac at least three Shabbatot a month (Shabbat housing can be provided). Adas Israel Congregation, a Conservative synagogue in the heart of Washington, D.C. serving over 1700 families, is preparing for the 2022-2023 school year and is excited to welcome additional team members in our Religious School and Youth Department. Religious School Teachers Do you enjoy teaching children? Are you passionate about Judaism? We are looking for teachers to join our staff for the 2022-2023 school year. We have opportunities to teach from Pre - k through 12th grade. Our Religious School classes take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings and on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
