Temple Shalom is a social-action driven Reform Synagogue where Chevy Chase meets Silver Spring looking for passionate Judaic Studies and Hebrew School teachers for our 5783 School Year. We are seeking candidates who are willing to create a vibrant Jewish experience. Dynamic Teacher for Experiential Jewish Learning School year September -May, Sundays only Classes meet Sundays 9:15am – 12:15pm Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience Small classes, big hearts and open minds Looking For: Creative and experiential approaches Warmth, enthusiasm, open mind open heart Experience with elementary aged children is highly desirable Jewish summer camp or youth group experience is a bonus Musical, artistic or drama skills are a bonus Knowledge of Hebrew reading required Submit resume and cover letter to schoolinfo@kehilachadasha.org. Yachad Oakland Mills Jewish School in Columbia, MD is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to teach the next generation of Jewish learners and explorers! Qualified candidates should have experience in education, preferably children ages 8 to 13 as we are looking for teachers for 4-7 grades; some knowledge of Hebrew, prayers, and Jewish customs and values; student engagement and behavior management skills; strong communication skills; imaginative and open to experimentation. The ideal candidate is a responsible, engaging and enthusiastic educator who can plan and provide instruction and activities to students of all levels based around the Yachad curriculum. Interested? The University of Maryland Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is looking for approachable and enthusiastic students to work as Terrapin Club 50/50 Raffle Sellers. Raffle sellers will just be asked to work home football games and select home men's basketball games. For both football and men's basketball games sellers earn $13/hour and for football sellers on average work 5-6 hours and for men's basketball on average it is 2-3 hours.
