Hillel is where generations of young Jews plant the seeds for their adult connections with Judaism and the Jewish people. The familiar sights and sounds of Shabbat are a reminder of home and they teach us that a Jewish home can be wherever we make it. And the opportunities to visit Israel, to lead programs that will strengthen our communal bonds, and to wrestle with Jewish teachings alongside studies in science, art, literature, and history give us a guide for how to live a life that is meaningful, stimulating, and Jewish.

I hope you’ll consider supporting Maryland Hillel’s alumni campaign this year!
